How can I change my personal information?
You can do so by clicking on the link "Modify your personal info" in the "Edit info" area of your toolbar. The toolbar is located on the left side of your screen when you're logged in. Be sure to click the Save Settings button at the bottom of each page you update.

I forgot my password, how can I get it back?
If you don't remember your password, try logging in to the site with whatever password you believe it might be. If the password is incorrect you will be shown an error stating your password is incorrect. Along with this error message you will be given the option to retrieve your password.

Why do you need so much information?
In order to best find your match, as well as let your match find you we ask as much information about your personality and views on life. Think about it this way, if you were going to go on a blind date, you would want to know a bit about the person you're going to go out with.. right? This allows us to become the friend who's matching you and your date up, while at the same time giving you thousands of options to pick and choose from.
P.S. Having a photo of yourself (smiling) helps a lot. -
Why was something in my profile rejected?
There are a number of reasons why something you added to your profile was rejected.
- You used offensive or abusive language
- You didn't fill out the field properly
- You included an email address, phone number or home address (we do not permit this for safety reasons). -
How do I change my email address?
You can change your email address by going to your Account Settings (which is located in the top menu bar named "Settings"). On this page you can enter your new email address, you will be required to enter your password for security reasons.

How do I modify my gender if it is incorrect in my profile?
Please visit the link below to update your gender on your profile. Be sure to click Save Settings button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

How do I make sure that the correct city is in my profile?
Some zip codes/postal codes cover more than one city. Click the link below and locate the pull down menu with city names under the zip code/postal code box. After selecting your correct city, please be sure to click Save Settings button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

My password is not working or I forgot my password.
If your password is not working:
We suggest copying and pasting in your password. Please be sure your browser's cookie settings are no higher than medium-high. Also, try emptying your browser's cookies and temporary files.

How can I change my password?
To change your password, or other settings such as your email address, click on the "Settings" button the top toolbar (located directly below the logo at the top of your screen). From there, click on the "Login Information" link.
You will be asked for your current password, as well as a new password (which you will need to retype a second time to make sure you didn't make a mistake).

Once you are logged in, please change this temporary password to a new one. To change it, please click on Settings. There you will have 3 fields to fill out. "Current Password" should be set to the password we sent you.
"New password" and "Verify password" fields should be set to the new password of your choice.

How can I upload a photo of myself?
You can upload a photo of yourself by clicking the "Upload a photo" link in your user toolbar (located on the left side of your screen when logged in).

How do I set my main photo?
Once you upload a photo and it has been approved (all photos get processed by a member of our Team, which means we crop the photo and reject any inappropriate photos), you can select it to be your main photo.
By default the first photo you upload, once approved, will become your main photo.
To set your photo to main it cannot be a private photo. Simply click on the button next to the photo labeled "Set As My Main Photo".

My photo won't upload onto the site.
Please check to make sure you image size is bigger than 200 width and 230 height. Also the file must be a JPG, GIF, PNG or BMP.
If your image meets the above standards and you are still having problems, please let us know what browser you are using and what error message you are receiving after your attempt to upload the image.
If all else fails, you can email it to customer.support@datingvipnotifications.com. Please include the site name in the subject and include your username. -
Can I set my photo to private?

Once you upload your photo, you have the option to set it as private, if its already uploaded go to manage photos and choose set private -

To upload a photo within the app, navigate to the ME option, and select Photos. Look for the + symbol; upon clicking, you'll be prompted to choose to load from your device or library.

You can make your photos private, but you need to have more than one picture uploaded. Please note that your main profile picture cannot be made private.
If you have more than one photo, follow these steps:
Go to "Manage Photos."
Click on the photo you want to make private.
Select "Make Private."

How can I send a message?
You can send messages to any user on the site if you have a full membership. To send a message, you must simply click the "Send message to.." button located directly below a member's main photo on the left of your screen (when looking at a given member's profile).

How can I send a flirt?
Any member (basic or full) can send flirts to other users. To send a flirt you must simply click the "Send flirt to.." button located directly below a member's main photo on the left of your screen (when looking at a given member's profile). You can then choose a flirt from the drop down menu, then send.

I am receiving emails that I do not want
If you want to change your email settings (receive newsletters/alerts or stop receiving them) you can do so by clicking on the "Settings" button in the top toolbar (located directly below the logo at the top of your screen), then clicking the "Email Options" link. On this page you can select/unselect what emails you wish to receive.
Click save then your new settings will have been saved.

I wish to receive email alerts / newsletters
If you want to change your email settings (receive newsletters/alerts or stop receiving them) you can do so by clicking on the "Settings" button in the top toolbar (located directly below the logo at the top of your screen), then clicking the "Email Options" link. Click save then your new settings will have been saved.

How do I send someone an IM?
To IM someone who is online and has the IM Chat Now link on their profile and I'm Online Let's Chat at the bottom of their picture, paid members just need to click on one of those links to IM because they are accepting IMs from anyone. If they are online but do not have those links, they are only accepting IMs from people from their favorites, or opted out from IM chat entirely.

Where do I find my flirts?
They are in the inbox, like regular email messages.

How do I block a user from emailing me?
Please visit the member's profile and select "Block Him" or "Block Her" from your searches. They will then no longer be able to email you.

How can I retrieve archived messages?
Those messages are located in your All Messages folder in your mailbox. If you want to move a message back to your inbox from the All Messages folder, click the box in front of that message in your All Messages folder and then click Move Back to Inbox.

How do I add or remove someone from my favorites?
To ADD:
Please visit the member's profile and click Save Him/Her to Your Favorites at the top of their profile.
To REJECT:
Please visit the member's profile and click Remove Him/Her From Your Favorites at the top of their profile. If you are no longer interested in being contacted by the member, you can view click the Not Interested link on their listing on your Favorites page. -
What does the NOT INTERESTED box mean on the favorites page?
That does not mean that they are not interested in you. YOU can click that box if you are not interested in THAT MEMBER and would like not to be contacted by them any further. It is an option that allows you to choose who can contact you.

How can I change who I receive IMs from?
You can choose to accept IMs from all users, only those in your favorites list, only people who match your mail settings preferences, or disable receiving IMs. To make these changes, please visit settings tab in IM bar on page bottom

What is Rapid Match?
Rapid Match is a free feature that displays members in your area. If you are interested, click "Like." If not, click "Pass." Clicking "Like" will send a notification to the user letting them know you have expressed interest.
Your profile is included in the free Rapid Match system so you may receive notifications from users who are interested in you. -
How do I remove my profile from Rapid Match?
You may opt out of having your profile displayed in RapidMatch by visiting the settings page and clicking the visibility settings.

How to contact members
Here are some instructions of how to interact with other members.
- You can use the option "Who is online" which will give you the list of members who are online now.
- You can use the "Search" feature, select your preferences and then contact members who you find interesting. Also, there is an option to "Browse photos" of other members.
- To search for members, please go to "Search" tab in menu, set your desired options: age, location, distance from you and you will see who among our members fits your desired profile. If the search does not give you enough results, we suggest you to extend the search options in order to increase your chance of finding the right person for you.
- To contact a member, you can send them a Flirt or a Private message. You can do this by going to this member's profile and clicking on a "Flirt" or "Message" button under their main profile photo on the left side of the page. As a Free member, you will have a limited number of flirts and you won't be able to send, read or reply to messages sent by Premium members. As a Premium member, you will be able to send unlimited flirts and messages. -
App Messaging
Dear Member,
If you've received a notification about someone expressing interest or a message, please review them. If it mentions that they messaged you, you can find the message in your mailbox. Look for the small bubble symbol at the bottom of the app – it should display a red number and boldly state, "I sent you a quick message" for new messages.

What does a free membership give me?
Your free membership will give you access to the following features of the site. You will be able to create a profile, upload photos, and search for other singles in your area. We are expanding and adding new features all the time.

How do I deactivate my free account?
If you have found what you were looking for or for some other reason like to deactivate your account then the option is in your settings. You can always reactivate your account at a later date should you like to start your search again.
Deactivating your account means that no one will be able to see your profile and you will no longer receive messages from any other members.

Why can't I complete the join form?
Please be sure your browser's cookie settings are no higher than medium-high. Also, be sure your entries do not contain anything other than letters and standard punctuation marks.

Is this a free site?
The basic service is free. With this, you are able to create an account and look around, see if this is something you would like to pay for, and see if there is anyone in your area that you would like to talk to. This is all available before you pay one cent. If you decide that you would like to upgrade, then yes there is a fee!

How come I was billed twice for this month?
On the join form it states, if you do not cancel by the time your 3 day trial ends, your membership will recur to a 30 day membership. We apologize if you missed that on the form. Please let us know if you have any further concerns or are unclear about anything.

I just signed up and it will not let me read my emails, what is wrong?
As a free basic member, you can upload your profile and photos, send up to 30 flirts, and search our database of members to see if we have anyone in your area or of interest to you. You will need an upgraded membership to send/receive messages, and initiate and read IM conversations.

If you would like to use a different card to make a payment on the website, please go to the upgrade section, choose a rate, then right above the rejoin button in small letters you will see the option to change your billing info, click there edit card details and click upgrade

We will never sell your information to any other company or individual. While most other companies profit from selling people's information to other companies, we do not feel this is an ethical practice and do not do so.
If at any time we change this policy we will inform you (via email) and give you the chance to have your profile deleted to help protect your information. -
Online safety tips
THE FIRST ONLINE ENCOUNTERS
Be careful about the information you give out. Never supply your last name, outside email address, personal website address, home address, phone number, place of work, or other identifying information in your profile or in your initial emails. If anyone tries to pressure or deceive you into revealing personal information, stop corresponding with them.

Trust your feelings, move cautiously, and choose carefully. As you correspond, be on the lookout for strange behavior or inconsistencies. Ask questions and be sure you are satisfied with the answers. If you think someone is lying, they probably are. Take note of conversation topics. If a person tends to steer the conversation towards unwelcome themes, walk away. Take all the time you need before moving to a more personal relationship.
WHEN THERE'S MUTUAL INTEREST
Photos can help you get a more accurate idea of who someone is. Get pictures of your new friend in different settings at work, at play, etc. Let the other person win your trust gradually. Don't confuse interest with trust. Your new friend should gain your confidence through consistently honorable, forthright behavior. Don't become prematurely personal or intimate with someone. In the desire to find companionship, it is very easy to lead yourself to believe know someone better than you really do, so take your time.

Talking by telephone can give you a better view of your friend's personality, social skills, and character. Call from a pay phone or a phone with Caller ID blocking until there is absolute trust. THINKING ABOUT MEETING IN PERSON
Meet when YOU are ready - do not be pressured into it! Any kind of pressure to meet should be a big red flag to you - do not tolerate it, and don't be afraid to change your mind about meeting. If someone argues about meeting, finds flaws in your thinking, or pressures you, DON'T meet with them. A sensitive person will always understand the risk involved with online dating, and will respect your caution.
THE MEETING
Double or group date for your first meeting. Always tell someone where you are going and when you will return, and leave your date's name and phone number with that person. Never have your date pick you up. If you decide mid-date to go somewhere else, drive yourself. Meet in a safe, public place. DO NOT meet in your residence or theirs. Be safe now. There will be time for solitude later.
When meeting outside your area: If you're flying in, make your own transportation and lodging reservations, and keep them to yourself. Don't meet your date at your hotel. Clean Data on Device
Hi,
Can you please try to clean data on your device? This is how you can do it:
Android:
Open App Info (on Android 12+ by long pressing app icon and then rounded "i" icon; on earlier versions by opening the app from settings page)
Select "Storage"
Tap "Clean DATA"
On iOS:
Delete the app and then install it again.
